Random.

I sometimes wonder.. Are a clique of guys, known as Brothers, really brothers?

One common example would be in a fight.

When one brother gets whack, the rest of the clique will revenge and fight back the ones who hurt their brother. As gangster as it may sound, but it's true, aren't it?
This is called ethos.

Ethos : The disposition, character, or fundamental values peculiar to a specific person, people, culture, or movement.

An example to put it in a sentence : They cultivated a subversive alternative ethos.

If you guys still don't understand, here's my simpler version.

Ethos means that a group of more than 2 people feels the same emotion that the partiular group is feeling.

Just like the example of the fight I mentioned above. It's like when one brother got beaten, then the rest will feel the same way, which will commonly be anger. That's why they will revenge right?

Another example would be about the matters of love.
Yeah, quite commonly heard about, too.

It's like this. When one of the brothers set his eyes on a particular girl, then that girl is somewhat "his" already. Other people cannot show even a tiny weeny interest on her, as they know that the girl is deemed "his".

Why is it so? I sometimes wondered and questioned myself. & I came to realise that those that wooed the same girl will be later judged as backstabbers, not-brother-enough-thingy, betrayers etc for "snatching".

Here's the big deal.
So what if he liked the girl first?
So what if he's a super duper good guy?
So what if he's devoted & loyal, loved the girl for a period of time?
SO?

Have it ever occurred back to you guys that maybe the girl don't return the love for that particular guy, and that's why the guy like and woo so long, still can't manage to get the girl?

There's times when I heard of stories that because of one girl, brothers fight. Hahah, cool right? A four letter alphabet could easily overtake the bonding that two brothers shared.
Times where two brothers shared secrets, played and fooled around, can so easily be turned into hatred, just because of love.(?)

伟大 right? MY FOOT. Instead, in my own opinion, I categorise this as lame and immature.
Fair competition lah? Why need turn all the brotherhood into dust just like this. Isn't it a pity? Hahah, therefore I can conclude that girls are mighty and powerful!! I can hear all the women rejoicing. ;)

Heheh, but all these are only cases like if the first guy really has no hope, cause it's super super obvious that the girl really don't love the guy lah.

Just like this power-pack scenario , when the other guy loves the girl and the girl loves back the guy as well, instead of liking the first-come-first-serve guy.

FIRST BLOOD! DOUBLE KILL! OWNAGE! Damage x99,999.

But sometimes, even fairy tales don't end with a happy ending. Guy that girl loves, don't want to see brother feeling devastated. So, both guys also don't get the girl.

Sad huh? Feel free to cry out loud. ;)

But if the scenario is like girl don't know the two guys like her, then fair competition would be a good idea to replace fightings, anger, guilt(?), etc..

Linking back to my first question.. So, are they really brothers?

People always say this, "When you truly love someone, seeing them happy brings a smile to your face too, even though you both are not together."

I hope that people whom faced my above mentioned situations can sit down, think twice about times they spent with their brothers before start hating them.

Yeah, this entry shall abruptly end here.

Goodbye :)

P.S : I admit I'm childish too, and is in no position to say about mature stuffs. All these are just merely my own opinions.
